Against the background of a renewed focus by the Dutch government on early integration, in particular in relation to the labour market and attention on this topic in the EU Pact on Migration and Asylum, we are looking forward to fruitful discussions on stage and with the audience.

As the European network providing objective, comparable policy-relevant information and knowledge on emerging issues relating to asylum and migration in Europe, we will share insights into our research on early integration measures by EU Member States and EMN Observer countries, and on the challenges in implementing these measures.

What to expect?

• The EMN presents the results of the EMN Inform ‘Early integration of applicants for international protection’, including a comparative analysis of early integration policies in all participating EU Member States (to be published in July).
• Policy experts from various EU Member States will present case studies into the different national approaches in their early integration policies.
• A panel discussion in which Dutch stakeholders and experts from various backgrounds will discuss their experience with early integration, combined with evidence-based insights, also reflecting on the contributions in the first panel and challenges and good practices identified int the EMN inform.
