Armenia and Montenegro joined the EMN as Observer Countries

Two new Observer Countries have joined the European Migration Network. Armenia participates in the EMN since 28 October, and Montenegro since 23 September. The new partnership primarily involves exchanging knowledge and experience on migration.

Montenegro is the fifth Observer Country to join the EMN, and Armenia is the sixth, following Georgia, Moldova, Norway and Ukraine. As Observer Countries Montenegro and Armenia contribute to EMN studies and meetings. With its research output, the EMN informs policymakers in EU Member States and the European Commission about migration policies in EU Member States and EMN Observer Countries.

The EMN welcomes both countries and looks forward to a prosperous partnership.
